WYSIWYG
An acronymfor the expression "What You See Is What You Get". This is an input principle from the field of web design.
Principle
WYSIWYG editors are editing programs that display not only source code but also the optical output of the content as it corresponds to the later output.
When programming a website, for example, it is displayed in the internet browser exactly as it will be displayed later. Especially content management systems (CMS) and e-mail marketing tools work with WYSIWYG editors. This makes it possible for users without extensive HTML or programming skills to create websites.
