Technology for cashless payment

NFC belongs to the procedures of the m-payment (mobile payment) and should be used for cashless payments with mobile devices, such as mobile phones and smartphones, or with cards. Another area of application are passes for admission controls. The mobile device or the card is held at a reader, e.g. at ticket machines and access controls.

To use NFC, the mobile devices and cards require an NFC chip.
